Based on the classic Stephen King short story found in his Skeleton Crew collection, The Monkey follows the story of twin brothers, Hal and Bill (both played by Theo James). When they discover a mysterious, wind-up cymbal-banging monkey toy in their father's old possessions, they realize it carries a deadly curse: every time it bangs its cymbals, someone nearby dies in a grotesque, "accidental" manner. The brothers attempt to destroy the toy, but years later, the monkey returns, forcing them to confront the curse once again.
