The login system is the primary vehicle for PDF Architect’s shift toward a subscription model. Upon logging in, users with perpetual licenses (older versions) are often bombarded with pop-ups and notifications encouraging them to upgrade to the current subscription plan. The software interface itself, post-login, can feel cluttered with "Upgrade" buttons and trial prompts for modules you haven't purchased, which detracts from the professional feel of the tool.
