This is the most important step of the entire process. The Tenda N318 exists in different hardware revisions, and installing the wrong firmware can permanently "brick" your router (render it unusable). Tenda has released firmware updates for hardware versions V6.0 and earlier versions. Each firmware package is designed for a specific hardware version.
