Once restarted, manually put the device back into (connect to PC, press button combinations). Then retry the 3uTools flash.
Try iTunes restore — if iTunes succeeds, use it; if it fails with an Apple error code, use that to target troubleshooting (e.g., 14 — USB issues, 9/4013/4014 — hardware/communication).
